ABOUT ME

 

Education-

I'm a freelance makeup artist located in the Phoenix area. I received my education under Corinna Bertram-Cooke at the Skin & Makeup Institute of Arizona. Training included bridal, runway, ethnic skins, theater, editorial, film and music video production, contouring, airbrushing, and business.

(Attending Cosmetology school at Penrose starting this July)
 

Background-

I was raised in North Dakota prior to making my way south to Arizona. While finishing up my Psychology degree at NAU, I had a transformation and decided to work toward my initial passion, makeup and hair. I most enjoy the collaborative process while working alongside others in the vast industry of editorial, film, and music video production.

 

Goals-

I constantly strive to expand my skills as a makeup artist through continuing my education and taking on new work opportunities, as well as researching trends in the past and present. Being a makeup artist is more than just being able to make a pretty face, it is about knowing what was or is happening around the world in fashion and popular trends throughout history to create an accurate and relevant look come to life.
